PTC, or Positive Temperature Coefficient element, film works by increasing resistance as the temperature rises, which helps control the current and voltage, saving up to 30% on electricity costs. The higher resistance also reduces the chance of overheating, making it safer.resulting in a maximum safe temperature of the iHelios system reaching 54°C.
